HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Flames spread through a house in Hampton Township on Saturday.

Allegheny County dispatchers say police, firefighters and medics were called to the 4300 block of Winchester Drive at around 5:10 p.m.

Hampton Township firefighters say the people who lived in the house were not home when the fire began. None of the firefighters who were responding to the incident were hurt.

The homeowners will not be able to stay in the house at this time.

It is unknown what started the fire at this time but the fire marshal is investigating.
