Steelers’ Cam Heyward kicks off 2nd annual Kindness Week

Cam’s Kindness Week Kickoff at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh Through his foundation, The Heyward House, Steelers’ defensive tackle and team captain Cameron Heyward is planning and kicking off his second annual “Cam’s Kindness Week.”

PITTSBURGH — The Steelers’ Cam Heyward kicked off the second annual Kindness Week by visiting patients at UPMC Children’s Hospital on Monday.

Joined by Pittsburgh native Joe Manganiello, Heyward read a book in the Dream Big Studio to be played on patients’ TVs through November before hosting a Cam’s Kindness Week Kickoff party in the atrium, where he played games with the kids and gave out signed No. 97 plushies.

Heyward’s acts of kindness to give back to the Pittsburgh community will continue through the week.
