“I just want them caught. I’m looking over my shoulder everywhere I go at this point,” Sia Fouse said.
Sia Fouse was asleep when masked men kicked in her front door right before 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
“I didn’t comprehend what was going on at the moment, you kind of hear me in the footage saying ‘what’ because I was just out of it,” Fouse said.
Then she says she saw the gun pointed at her - and the men were telling her to open her safe.
“They wanted me to open the other safe but the code on that has been broken for a while and I told them that I don’t have the key here and I said there’s no money in it. The Skinny guy - he looked stressed when I said that,” Fouse said.
Fouse says she feared for her life when the men ordered her outside with them.
“The big guy picked up the safe and it’s a big safe, relatively. And they made me go outside with them. They had me next to a building in the field. The one guy just had the gun on me the whole time while the other put the safe in the car.”
She says the men then let her go.
“Then he said, ‘Turn around, walk back to your house. Be quiet, go inside and don’t look back.’“ Fouse said.
They stole thousands of dollars in cash and all of Fouse’s important paperwork. Even worse, she says, they stole her feeling of safety.
“I do think it was a setup. I don’t know who did it. I hope they’re caught and put away forever. That’s not enough but it’s the legal route.”
Fouse says she’s put out a reward for any leads to the men being arrested.
