TURTLE CREEK, Pa. — A warming center is open for residents of Turtle Creek that are in need after a gas outage.
According to a post from the Turtle Creek Fire Department, the warming center has been set up at the Turtle Creek Borough building at 125 Monroeville Ave.
The fire department said the outage is impacting the Electric Heights Housing Association. Channel 11 has learned about 600 customers are affected.
Peoples completed the repairs on Wednesday night. The housing association’s maintenance staff is handling the relights of residents’ gas appliances.
It is not clear at this time when the restoration will take place.
