WESTMORELAND COUNTY — On Sunday morning, crews responded to a car that crashed into a house in Westmoreland County.
The silver Buick rammed through the occupied house on Pleasant Valley Road near Wyrant Circle in Murrysville.
Channel 11 spoke with the residents who said they were throwing something away in the kitchen when they heard something that “sounded like an explosion.”

By the time our crew arrived at the scene, the car had been removed by a tow truck and a blue tarp hung from the hole in the house.
According to Murrysville Medic One, one person was transported to a local trauma center for treatment and the homeowners were treated and released at the scene.
There’s no word on what caused the accident.
