UNITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Unity Township on Friday evening.
According to the Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office, a motorcyclist was traveling south on Route 981 when the bike made contact with the center median for an unknown reason.
The motorcyclist lost control and was ejected off the bike. He died a short time later at Latrobe Hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Bruce Santella, 79, of Latrobe.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
