Woman accused of shooting man in head in Washington Co.

CROSS CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman is accused of shooting a man in the head during an altercation he was involved in with the woman's fiancé at a Washington County home Friday night.

According to police, Tracy Chechuck shot Louis Ruscello with a .45-caliber gun at the Hill Street home in Cross Creek Township shortly after 10 p.m. Ruscello was fighting with Chechuck's fiancé at the time of the shooting.

Ruscello, 39, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. His condition has not been released.

Chechuck, 26, was taken into police custody and charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
