Diagnosed with colon cancer 12 years ago, Solet grew tired of the battle and said he's done with treatments.
He wanted to say goodbye to family and friends on his own terms, so he threw himself a huge "death party".
More than 300 people came to celebrate Solet's life with him, as he jumped on the stage to sing.
"It gives me a chance while I still have my health, to say goodbye while I still can and be able to look people in the eye and tell them, 'Hey, you were a part of my life, I love ya, and thanks.'"
Despite the tone of finality in the party, Solet doesn't know how much time he has.
His doctors gave him six months to live...12 years ago.
