Man wanted for armed robbery in Ellwood City, police say

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. — A man is wanted for the armed robbery of a convenience store early Monday morning in Ellwood City, according to police.

The man, described as being in his mid-20s, having a thin build and standing about 5 feet, 9 inches tall walked into the Uni-Mart around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Sixth Street and Beaver/Factory Avenue in Ellwood City. Police said the man demanded the clerk open the cash register. He ran off after taking out the cash.

Police said the man also had red facial hair and was wearing a red plaid long sleeve hooded coat, a red bandana around his neck and a black stocking cap with a Steelers logo. He also had gloves on his hands.
