WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Authorities responded to reports of shots fired near Kennywood Park in West Mifflin Friday night.
Nick Paradise, a spokesperson for the amusement park, told Channel 11 News that no shots were fired on Kennywood property, including the parking lot.
Have been informed of an incident near the park but want to make clear there were NOT shots fired at Kennywood nor is the park on lockdown.

Paradise said the park, which closed at 9:30 p.m., was never placed on lockdown and the reported incident took place elsewhere.
Park closed at 9:30 as scheduled and any further questions should be directed to West Mifflin PD or Duquesne PD.

Investigators told Channel 11 News that several shots were fired along Hoffman Boulevard in West Mifflin. No victims or suspects were immediately located, investigators said.
No additional details about the shooting were immediately available.
