The Pennsylvania State police shut down part of the Parkway East for about an hour Saturday morning as troopers searched for evidence from a shooting.
The shooting occurred around 4:30 a.m., police said, between the Greensburg Pike and Churchill exits.
Police said Jasmine Guest, 24, was a passenger in the vehicle, when the vehicle she was in was fired upon by someone in another vehicle. One of the bullets struck Guest, killing her, police said.
Investigators are currently working to identify the involved vehicle and occupants.
