PITTSBURGH — A woman was hurt in a duplex fire early Wednesday morning the Elliott section of Pittsburgh.
When firefighters got to Lorenze Avenue around 4:15 a.m. they found fire in the front of the house.

The woman was unresponsive when firefighters removed her from the home, she was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Even through firefighters quickly put out the flames, there was damage the awning above the front porch and at least one of the windows on the second floor was broken.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
