'Night of the Living Dead' 50th Anniversary
All Weekend - Evans City
This October's Living Dead Weekend will be focused entirely on the celebration of the 50th anniversary of "Night of the Living Dead," the film that created the zombie genre. The celebration will spread from Evans City, where the movie was filmed, to Pittsburgh, where the film was conceived, produced and premiered.

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. - The Waterfront
DogtoberFEST is an outdoor festival and showcase for the many healthy and adoptable animals that are waiting for homes at more than 100 rescues and shelters in the Western Pennsylvania region. The event also helps to bring animal rescues and shelters together for one day as a collective community of compassionate people, advocating every day for homeless animals.
Terror Trolley
Weekends in October, 7:30 p.m. - Molly's Trolleys
Come aboard the Terror Trolley and hear haunted tales of Pittsburgh’s deepest, darkest secrets. With a city so rich in history, industry and corruption, there are bound to be stories of murder, mystery and disaster. The trip will reveal the legends of those that still haunt the streets seeking revenge, including the story of what was once named “the most haunted house in America.”
Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
