City officials said the building is safe.

The lower part of the hill slid down onto Stranahan Street. The director of Permits, Licenses and Inspections for the city of Pittsburgh came out, too.

She said the owner of the building has been working to address this problem for several weeks.

An engineer spent time at the scene investigating the cause and seeing how much further the hill could move as the rain continues this weekend.
