BALDWIN, Pa. — A car accident has closed a down a Baldwin Borough road on Tuesday.
A car drove into a utility pole at the 2900 block of Churchview Avenue.

The woman driving plowed through the pole, took out a stop sign, and cam to a rest against a Sunoco gas station sign, a witness said.

According to a witness, the woman that was driving the truck claimed her breaks failed and her steeling wheel locked up.
The road will remain closed while utility crews make repairs.
