Car crashes, flips onto steps outside Pittsburgh school

PITTSBURGH — A car crashed and flipped over onto steps leading up to a school in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

It was about 2 a.m. when the crash was reported outside Crescent Early Childhood on Bennett Street.

One person was taken to a hospital, officials said.

Yellow posts and a railing were damaged when the car flipped onto the steps.
