Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh named one of nation’s best

PITTSBURGH — The list of the best children’s museums across the country is out, and there’s no surprise Pittsburgh’s Children’s Museum made the list.

USA Today’s list features the top 10, and Pittsburgh’s Children’s Museum came in eighth on the list. Experts noted the numerous hands-on experiences and interactive exhibits as reasons for it being one of the best.

The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia came in seventh on the list.

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis topped the list. It’s the largest museum of its kind in the world, according to USA Today. 

The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is currently closed because of the the pandemic, but it is reopening on June 12.
