According to a release, the woman was driving east on Pizza Barn Road when she drove through a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle that was headed south on Route 217. Investigators said after the initial impact, the woman was ejected from the car on the driver’s side.

The driver of the other car -- a 33-year-old man -- suffered minor injuries and was listed in stable condition. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation but is expected to be okay.

Police said neither driver was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.
