MARIANNA, Pa. — A 6-year-old girl might have saved her family from a fire early Thursday morning at their home in Washington County, officials said.
In all, four children and two adults were inside the home on Oak Street in Marianna when the fire started.
Only a shell of a home was left behind by the flames.

“You're like, there goes everything, everything you've worked for, everything your kids have,” Jerrica Shraber, the children’s mother, said.
Shraber said her 6-year-old daughter yelled that she smelled smoke, alerting the family to the fire.
