NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. — After a teenager’s shooting death last weekend at Haunted Hills Hayride in North Versailles, the attraction will not reopen this weekend.

The decision, the result of a team meeting, was announced on Facebook Thursday night after a balloon release was held at Haunted Hills Hayride to remember 15-year-old Steven Eason.

Eason was shot Saturday night, as was another 15-year-old, while he was trying to help break up a fight. Eason died after he was taken to a hospital. The other teenager survived.
No arrests have been made.
Haunted Hills Hayride plans to resume its regular schedule on Sept. 24.
