A Pennsylvania state trooper charged with over 30 counts of child pornography-related charges remains in jail without bond.
Corporal Sean McKenzie was scheduled for a preliminary hearing this morning after charges were refiled in Fayette County.
The hearing was continued, but his attorney addressed his right to have an appropriate bond set.

A tip from Dropbox traced back to an email address McKenzie was allegedly using and an IP address came back to his house in Perryopolis.
Investigators said they found McKenzie had multiple child porn pictures and videos on his phone and a USB drive right in his pocket when he was arrested at the turnpike barracks in New Stanton.
McKenzie was scheduled for a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning. He wasn’t physically there, but his defense attorneys were.
The hearing was continued because an expert witness wasn’t available for prosecutor, but McKenzie’s attorney addressed his bond, asking the judge to consider setting one that’s appropriate.
“It’s our plan to file a motion in the court to set bond. Mr McKenzie is a long-standing member of the community. He is not a flight risk. He’s never been in trouble before, and the factors for bond, we believe a bond should be set. We’re hopeful that’ll happen,” said defense attorney Tim Andrews.
The judge sided with prosecutors to not change the bond because they consider him a danger to the community after allegedly finding a video where McKenzie set up a camera in a house and recorded a young girl undressing.
“We believe the rules allow for him to be released on bond and we’re hopeful the court agrees,” Andrews said.
The case was initially filed in Westmoreland County and then withdrawn and refiled in Fayette County last week.
McKenzie was a corporal at the New Stanton Turnpike Barracks. He remains suspended without pay.
