Man shot in arm in Rankin, two vehicles ‘damaged by projectiles’

PITTSBURGH — A man was shot in the arm in Rankin and at least two vehicles were “damaged by projectiles," according to county police.

Officers said at around 8:30 p.m., County 911 was notified of the reported shooting in the 400 block of Rankin Street. The man was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

Investigators said they are processing the shooting scene.
