Maroon 5 requiring fans to be vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19 prior to Pittsburgh show

BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. — If you have tickets to see Maroon 5 at The Pavilion at Star Lake later this month, you will be required to either be fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19 before the show.

Maroon 5 posted their new requirements on social media Wednesday. The new requirements begin on Aug. 16. The band is scheduled to play at the Burgettstown venue on Aug. 25.

The band said, “We want you to know that our top priority is the safety and well being of our fans as well as that of the hard working men and women who make these events possible.”

Concert goers will have to show proof of a negative test result within 48 hours of the show or prove they are fully vaccinated.

Ticket holders were notified of the new protocols by email. A notice is also posted on The Pavilion at Star Lake’s website.
