Man last seen in Highland Park area no longer considered missing, Pittsburgh police say

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE (6/30/21): Pittsburgh police said “new information has come to light during the course of the police investigation and Luke Paglia is no longer considered a missing person.”

ORIGINAL STORY: Pittsburgh police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who was last seen in the Highland Park area.

Luke Paglia, 50, was reported missing Monday. He was last seen about 2 p.m. His brother, Chris Paglia, said his world has been upended by this.

“He went for a walk and he didn’t come back,” he said.

Chris Paglia said his brother takes daily walks. He left his cell phone at home and he can’t wrap his head around what may have happened.

“He is intelligent to a fault. He is meticulous to a fault, and he loves his family,” he said.

Luke Paglia is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has graying hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a maroon/burgundy T-shirt, dark gray athletic shorts and possibly black adidas sandals or gray tennis shoes.

Anyone with information on Paglia’s whereabouts is asked to call Pittsburgh Police SVU at 412-323-7141.
