Police have found the rightful owners of several pieces of jewelry recently stolen from a Dormont home.
The items include a gold ring with “Jack 8-8-64” inscribed on the inside, as well as a Trafford High School class of 1985 ring.
Police said the burglar admitted to taking the jewelry from a home on or near the 2700 or 2800 blocks of Glenmore Avenue. Police said, as of Saturday, the theft had not been reported and they were trying to find the victim.
Dormont police found the owner of the jewelry a few hours after the media circulated photos of the items.
