Police investigate Braddock shooting that sent man to hospital

BRADDOCK, Pa. — A man was shot late Wednesday night in Braddock.

Numerous evidence markers were placed on a sidewalk after police were called shortly after 11 p.m. to Camp Avenue.

When officers first got to the location, they found a man who had been shot in the lower leg, authorities said. The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators stayed at the scene for a few hours, focusing their attention around a Jeep that had its doors on the driver’s side open.
