MOUNT LEBANON, Pa. — The Salvation Army collected clothes to help families get ready to go back to school in the fall.

Officials said they collected gently used children’s clothing for grades K through 12.
The clothing drive went from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Southminster Presbyterian Church on Washington Road in Mount Lebanon.
Items in particular demand include jeans, shorts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, sneakers, dress shoes and dress clothes in all sizes and genders.

Donations are also being accepted at the Salvation Army on McNeilly Road.
