WEST FINLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A sludge truck crashed early Monday morning in West Finley Township, sending one person to a hospital and prompting the response of a hazmat team, officials said.
The truck crashed about 3:30 a.m. on West Finley Road, trapping the driver inside, emergency dispatchers said.
Crews pulled the driver from the wreckage and a medical helicopter was called in, dispatchers said. The driver was flown to a hospital.
A hazmat team was brought in because of a diesel fuel spill.
West Finley Road was blocked between Crawford and Majorsville roads.
