MCCANDLESS, Pa. — More good news: Outdoor concerts are back for the summer at McCandless Crossing.
According to a news release, more than 30 regional artists, bands and musicians will play on the Town Green through Sept. 23. Shows will take place on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.
Popular guitarist and singer Shelley Duff will open the concert series on Monday, June 7. She’ll be followed by Elias Khouri on Thursday, June 10.
A new canopy tent is scheduled to arrive mid-June so that concerts can take place rain or shine. It will also provide a shady spot on hot summer evenings.
Spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets, and takeout from nearby restaurants.
