WASHINGTON, Pa. — A SWAT team was called in after a stolen car was found along a road in Washington Monday night.
Pennsylvania State Police told Channel 11 a trooper found that the car had been stolen out of Uniontown. Before the trooper could pull the car over, the driver pulled into a driveway on Hayes Avenue.

Three people in the car then ran into the back of the building.
Police set up a perimeter and took five people out of the building for questioning. Because of the number of people in the building, state police activated the Special Emergency Response Team.

Two handguns were found outside the building, according to police.
One of the people taken from the building was taken to jail on an outstanding warrant for an unrelated incident.
