PORTLAND, Ore. — Oregon authorities are blaming an unusual suspect for a Wednesday morning car crash in northwest Portland.
The only defining characteristics the rattled driver could provide of her assailant were its eight legs, KATU reported.
The driver told responding Washington County deputies she was approaching an intersection when a spider dropped down for her rearview mirror. In turn, she lost control of the vehicle and rolled the car into a ditch, the station reported.
Although the driver suffered only a minor scratch on her head, her car was totaled, deputies told KATU.
The spider remains at large.
