West Bethlehem Township officials said about 200 people have not had water service since 4 p.m. Monday. A water buffalo has been set up at the Mariana Library.
The township supervisor said it is rare to have that many water main breaks at once and crews may have the water restored by Tuesday night.
The supervisor said the breaks may have been caused by increased pressure from another community.
