Pitt announces game for retro uniforms, Conner bobblehead

Homecoming weekend will feature a retro theme and a chance to own a new piece of James Conner memorabilia.

The Pitt Athletic department announced that the first 30,000 fans in the door at the Sat., Oct. 14 game at Heinz Field vs. North Carolina State will receive a James Conner bobblehead.

The Panthers will also wear their fan-favorite retro colors against the Wolfpack that afternoon, the uniform that will match the one in the Conner bobblehead.

Conner, now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, set the ACC all-time touchdowns record in last season’s 56-14 win over Duke.  The Panthers also wore retro uniforms that day.
