PITTSBURGH — The contract details have emerged for the agreement between the Pittsburgh Steelers and free agent cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Peterson and the Steelers have agreed to the framework of a two-year deal that will pay him a total of $14 million, according to a report by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Peterson’s contract will have $5.85 million guaranteed, less than half. Peterson’s deal is for less money and significantly less guaranteed money than the three-year, $33 million contract that Cam Sutton has agreed to with the Detroit Lions.
