And there you have it. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ seemingly never-ending saga with Joey Porter Jr. is over.

Late Wednesday night, general manager Omar Khan shipped the budding young cornerback to the Dallas Cowboys for a package that includes a second-round pick, per NFL insider Ari Meirov.

According to multiple reports, the Steelers are getting a 2028 second-round pick and a 2027 sixth-rounder in return.

Porter had been full-go during the Steelers’ first two practices this week before dropping down to being a limited participant on Wednesday, then being ruled out for the team’s game on the road against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.
