The Pittsburgh Penguins (2-0-0) have filled the net in their first two games, scoring 13 goals en route to a pair of wins over Eastern Conference opponents. The Penguins get one more home game before spending most of the next two weeks on the road when they host the Winnipeg Jets (1-0-1) Monday at PPG Paints Arena.
The puck drops just after 7 p.m., and Mr. Jeff Jimmerson will do the national anthem.
The Penguins scored goals quickly and in bunches Saturday in their 6-5 overtime win over the Montreal Canadiens at PPG Paints Arena. The Penguins trailed 1-0 after Cole Caufield’s early goal but settled down later in the period and raced to a 5-1 lead by late in the second period.
