PITTSBURGH — WPXI-TV Channel 11 News at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. were the highest-rated newscasts, with adults 25-54, the most coveted demographic for advertisers, out of the 25 LPM markets across the United States during the most recent Nielsen survey period, which ran August 23rd through September 19th.
- Channel 11 News 11 at 11 has been the #1 11 p.m. newscast in Pittsburgh since February. (A25-54, M-Su)
- WPXI is the only noon newscast in the market to show growth year-over-year, since Sept. '17, and has been #1 at noon since June. (WPXI +30%, WTAE –20%, KDKA –29%, A25-54)
- Channel 11 News at 6 p.m. is the only 6 p.m. newscast to show share growth over Sept. '17.
