Grab the umbrella if heading out Thursday evening

PITTSBURGH — Grab the umbrella if you’re heading out to dinner Thursday evening. Meteorologist Danielle Dozier is tracking scattered showers across the area.

Overnight, there will still be a few showers in the area but snow may mix in at higher elevations in the ridges as well as along the I-80 corridor as colder air funnels in.

Lows into Friday morning will dip into the upper 30s. Widespread frost is not expected due to the unfavorable stronger winds and cloud cover.

Friday afternoon will feature a mostly cloudy sky with highs near 50 degrees.

Over the weekend, high temperatures will climb to near 60. If you’re heading outdoors, Saturday looks good but cool. Showers may move in during the evening. Only isolated showers are expected at this point Sunday.
