Scattered showers through this evening, decreasing clouds Tuesday

PITTSBURGH — Scattered showers will continue through this evening and some will be heavy so make sure you have your umbrella before you head out to dinner. Showers will wind down late tonight. Overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid-40s.

Expect decreasing clouds on Tuesday with temperatures in the mid-60s as high pressure briefly builds in.

A slow-moving low-pressure system will move closer to, and then through, our area Wednesday into Friday, bringing chances for rain and cooler weather. Highs on Thursday may only be in the 40s.
