Showers move in Friday morning with cooler temps moving in

PITTSBURGH — Light rain will push into the area by late morning as a cold front presses south and last through parts of this afternoon. Temperatures will be highest this morning in the low 70s before dropping into the low 60s by the end of the day.

Aside from a stray shower, most of the area should be dry this evening, albeit still mostly cloudy. Drier air pours in overnight, which will drop lows into the mid to upper 40s by morning under mostly clear skies.

The weekend looks mostly fantastic with plenty of sunshine Saturday and some more cloud cover Sunday as a fast-moving disturbance crosses. Aside from a shower over the mountains southeast of Pittsburgh, the entirety of the weekend should be dry and much more seasonable.

Chilly nights will be the headline early next week as lows dip into the mid to upper 30s by Monday night! After today, we may not see rain going through much of next week!
