Pittsburgh Weather: Stray sprinkle possible for some Sunday; cool temperatures settle in tonight

PITTSBURGH — If you don’t catch a sprinkle today, you might not see rain for the next week.

Clouds will mix with sun at times today. There will be more sunshine the farther northwest you go. Clouds will thicken up southeast of Pittsburgh where a sprinkle is possible in the mountains.

Skies clear out tonight, and very cool settles in for Monday and Tuesday.

We’ll have to watch for the chance of frost Monday night, especially in counties closer to the Laurel Highlands and I-80.

Temperatures start to warm up a bit Wednesday, with highs in the 70s for much of the rest of the week. Much of the area will remain rain-free through next weekend.
