PITTSBURGH — After putting it on the market in early March 2020 just before the Covid-19 pandemic brought much of the business world to a halt, Strip District-based Oxford Development Co. has sold the Crown Plaza Hotel & Suites, a hospitality mainstay near South Hill Village for years.
Real estate records indicate an Oxford affiliate called Oxford FT Couch Partners LP sold the hotel property to Crown South Hills Owner LLC for $3.7 million.
Oxford wasn’t immediately available for comment and it remains to be determined who is behind the buyer of the hotel and what the plan is for the hotel going forward.
