96-year-old man continues tradition, makes 700 wooden toys for children in Fayette County

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — “Santa’s #1 Helper” has been quite busy this year!

Ed Higinbotham, 96, makes wooden toys, and this year he made 700 of them for children in Fayette County.

State police said he’s been spreading holiday cheer this way since the 1980s.
