Owners of EatUnique Cafe in Oakland opt to sell breakfast and lunch restaurant after 26-year run

PITTSBURGH — The restaurant scene in Oakland faces the potential for more change as a quick-serve operation that has achieved more than 25 years of history on Craig Street goes up for sale.

Ross-based Specialty Group announced that it has started marketing EatUnique for sale, listing the business at 303 South Craig St. as available in the listing but not the real estate for the restaurant that totals about 2,000 square feet after some expansions since it first debuted in 1997.

The owners are Dave and Lisa Brown, who Specialty Group principal Terri Sokoloff indicated in a press announcement have opted to sell in order “to move on to the next chapter in their lives.”
