Building owner pursuing residential storage venture downtown

Pittsburgh Skyline - WPXI

PITTSBURGH — David Bishoff has been trying to fill 322 Fourth Ave. downtown with tenants for nearly 30 years.

“We’ve been marketing it and attempting to lease it quite literally since 1997,” Bishoff said.

Now, with empty floors still to fill on what’s been known as the Pittsburgh Technology Center, Bishoff, principal of Columbus-based E.V. Bishoff, is pursuing a plan to offer the empty floors in the building for residential storage, hoping to build on a potentially growing need to store stuff from an increasing population of downtown residents.
