SPRINGDALE BOROUGH, Pa. — A fire caused severe damage to a building in Springdale Borough on Saturday.

Allegheny County dispatchers say, police officers, firefighters and medics were called to the 100 block of S North Street at around 8:39 p.m.

The fire was quickly raised to a second-alarm level, just 7 minutes after the initial call was made.

There were no reported injuries from the fire.
