PITTSBURGH — Palm Palm, located in East Liberty, has been named one of the best new restaurants in America for 2026 by Yelp. The establishment first opened its doors in the summer of 2025.
Yelp selected its Best New Restaurants list by evaluating full-service restaurant data, review volume, ratings, health scores and expert curation. Palm Palm was recognized as one of 25 top new restaurants across the nation in the annual ranking.
Herky Pollock serves as the CEO of Legacy Hospitality Partners, the hospitality group behind Palm Palm. Following the announcement, Pollock praised the restaurant staff and thanked the local community for their support.
“This honor means the world to us. We opened Palm Palm believing we could create something unique and special, not just for Pittsburgh, but something that could stand alongside the best restaurants anywhere in the country,” Pollock said. “To be recognized as one of America’s 25 best new restaurants is beyond incredible. I am unbelievably proud of our team. They are the reason that this happened. A huge thanks to our local community for their support. I am especially proud that once again, Pittsburgh is getting the opportunity to shine on the national stage.”
The restaurant’s concept is inspired by the styles of Palm Springs and Palm Beach. Palm Palm serves dinner and brunch, featuring a large scenic patio for year-round outdoor dining. The layout also includes two private dining rooms that face and interact directly with the chef’s kitchen.
