PITTSBURGH — PNC will shutter its first Pittsburgh branch this year early in the second quarter, according to a filing with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and confirmed on Friday by the bank.
That’s down from four during the same period a year ago.
But this branch is unusual. Located at 345 Court St. in Coraopolis, it is at the headquarters of giant retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods. It is rare for any bank to locate a branch within another corporation.
