BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement on a five-year contract extension with star quarterback Lamar Jackson that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to multiple media reports.

The Ravens had already placed a non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson for the 2023 season, but he had not found an offer with another team. The terms of the contract have not yet been reported.

“Let’s go. I can’t wait to be there. I can’t wait to light up M&T (Bank Stadium) for the next five years,” Jackson said in a post to social media.
