Slappers N Bangers rescheduled because of expected rain

PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh hip-hop and R&B-based event is being rescheduled.

Slappers N’ Bangers was scheduled to take place at the Stacks at 3 Crossings on Railroad Street on Sunday.

But because of the expectation of heavy rain, it has been pushed back. The event will now take place on Oct. 4, running from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

All previously bought tickets will still be valid on the new date.

No refunds will be given, but organizers say transfers are available for anyone who wants to sell their ticket.

Slappers N’ Bangers features a lineup of Pittsburgh DJs and musicians.

This year marks the event’s eleventh year, since it was founded by Arie Coleman in 2015.

Coleman says the event is designed to create an inclusive space for local artists and an opportunity for all visitors to express themselves.
